Symptoms of an Anxiety
We all experience anxiety ,but everyone experiences it a little bit differently,...some of the common symptoms include:
- Frequent worrying
- Difficulty sleeping or eating
- Irritability
- Panic/Anxiety attacks
- Obsessive thoughts
- Trouble concentrating
- Avoiding the things that make you anxious
Maybe you had a panic attack at work, or perhaps you’re having trouble coping with stress in your relationship. You may be struggling to complete your day-to-day activities, or completely avoiding them. Perhaps you’re feeling like a failure for not being able to handle these feelings yourself.
When you experience anxiety, it is common to also have difficulty in your relationships with others. Therefore, often we will also focus on how you can improve your relationships. This can include working on communication skills, boundary setting, and how to manage having strong emotions (like anxiety) within relationships. By learning to manage anxiety you might find that your relationships are more compassionate and loving.
